DevianTour through DevianThun


Last weekend ~uuodan *brueni =Baesch-T ~Cadoras =DasZweiteIch and *scouros met in Thun for the first DevianTour.

It wasn't too bad that we only were a small group since it was the first time that we were doing the DevianTour.
These are the rules: You get a certain amount of keywords (we defined eight of them) and then the aim is to take a picture to every of these keywords. But you only have a certain time (we defined 60min) and you're only allowed to take one picture for every keyword. So in our case we were allowed to take eight pictures. And not more! (we checked )
The challenge was also to find those keywords in a unknown area and take a picture of them while only having one try for each.

These were the words:
Candle, Lighthouse, Lamp, Motion, Garbage Can, Dog, Tourism, Red

As you see, the words itself aren't too difficult. But still, the challenge was big enough.
We plan to work on the Game and implement some group parts so that it supports the idea of a meeting.
But even though the rules aren't perfect yet, it was fun and we are already looking forward to present the pictures of the participants so we can see how those people interpretet the keywords.

After the DevianTour in Thun we decided to go to a place where we can have a BBQ. The weather was perfect so we tried to find a place somewhere in the nearby mountains (with view to the lake). We ended up at some place that looked like there should be a fireplace somewhere around. But we havne't had the chance to look around because there was a woman shouting at us and asking if we were going to play airsoft in the forest
We were like ... "not really, we are .. uhm.. artists". Obviously the lady didn't believe us (we can't blame her for that since three of us were wearing dA shirts and it kinda looked like we were from the same "clan" )
Since she wanted us to leave pretty bad she told us to follow her car so that she can take us to some other fireplace.
It turned out that she brought us to a very nice place with a great view over the lake and a perfectly installed fireplace.

All in all, it was a small but great meeting. And we look forward to develop the DevianTour and try it with a bigger group of people.
